The Post at the Agricultural Fair in Novi Sad
At the opening of the 89th International Agricultural Fair in Novi Sad, the Post of Serbia presented services that are particularly suitable and intended for business users, and in addition to standard postal and financial, packages of complete logistical support and solutions for organizing individual segments of transport and storage of goods were promoted, which attracted the attention of exhibitors and visitors.
At the Post’s specialized stand, numerous visitors had the opportunity to get information about the new parcel machine service, and they could also try out its use. Parcel machines are available to users at four frequent and easily accessible locations in Novi Sad, at the Novi Sad Fair, the Railway Station, at the main entrance to SPENS, and at the Novi Sad Main Post Office. In addition to the currently active 20 parcel machines, another 400 new ones will soon be available throughout the country, and users can also suggest locations in the survey on the website https://paketomat.posta.rs/.
"Today, the Post of Serbia is here to support the renowned Novi Sad Agricultural Fair with a long tradition and great influence on economic trends in the country, the region and beyond. Agriculture has always had national and existential significance, and it has gained additional importance in the light of current events, and we should jointly support it and use its huge potentials. It is also important that we bring to the present large companies all the benefits that can be achieved through business cooperation with the Post, and we invite them to stay informed, and in addition to standard parcels, to opt for logistics support parcels in business, export support services, and specially created marketing, postal/financial and information services ", said at the Agricultural Fair in Novi Sad, Zoran Đorđević, Acting Director of the Post of Serbia.
On this occasion, Đorđević pointed out that the agreement with NALED and the Directorate for Agrarian Payments (UAP) is being finalized to include the Post and help in the realization of the eAgrar project, as well as the digitalization of their services.
It is expected that from July, at post offices throughout Serbia it will be possible to register and make any changes for all agricultural farms.
