PTT Museum winner of the "Museum for 10" award

At the solemn Assembly of the National Committee of ICOM Serbia, coordinator of the event "Museums for 10", today in the Yugoslav Cinematheque, awards were presented for special efforts in 2021. The PTT Museum of the Post of Serbia is the winner of the "Museum for 10" award, which was received by Marko Jelić, manager of the service at the Post Museum.

This year's eighth largest national museum event "Museums for 10" is underway, under the auspices of the Ministry of Culture and Information. On this occasion, in addition to the permanent exhibition, the PTT Museum opened an exhibition of postage stamps of the Universal Postal Union, from the collection of stamps of foreign postal administrations obtained in exchange with the Universal Postal Union, and an exhibition of books with the oldest valuable editions from the library of the Post of Serbia. The visitors also have access to the exhibition "Unseen Lubarda" with ten hitherto unexposed works of art by Petar Lubarda from private collections, which can be visited at the PTT Museum until 27 May. Until the end of the event on 20 May, the PTT Museum at 13 Majke Jevrosime Street in Belgrade will be open from 10 am to 11 pm. Admission is free.

This year, ICOM Serbia is realizing the prize competition "What is the super POWER of your MUSEUM?", for short video forms of up to three minutes, in which visitors can record their impressions from visiting the PTT Museum and other participants in the event.
