Warning: New attempt to misuse the logo and name of the Post detected
PE Post of Serbia has detected a new attempt to misuse the logo and name of the Post which suggests to citizens through fake and fraudulent SMS and WhatsApp messages that they need to make a certain payment in order to pick up a certain item.
The messages contain a link to a page that is not a property of PE Post of Serbia, which requires payment of money via payment cards.
We would like to draw the attention of the citizens of Serbia to the fact that PE Post of Serbia has never communicated with its customers in this way and that if they receive messages with similar content, they should not act in the way required of them.
In order to educate and held the citizens of Serbia there is a new webpage on the corporate website of the PE Post of Serbia, and if there are any doubts, the Contact Centre of the PE Post of Serbia whose phone numbers are 0700 100 300 and 011 3607 788, is available on weekdays from 8 am to 8 pm and on Saturdays and Sundays from 8 am to 3 pm.
We advise citizens to be extra careful, not to open links in received messages and not to enter their data.
The whole case has been reported to the National CERT of the Republic of Serbia.
